Quagmire of Self-Acceptance
Hey,
Will you accept me if I do not write with fancy words and complex ideas?
Will you accept me if I keep my writings short and simple?
Will you accept me as a writer if I have not yet published any books?
Will you accept me if I become vulnerable about my thoughts and feelings?
Will you accept me if I write only to contribute my part in this world?
Will you accept me if all I have to say is just, ‘ACCEPT YOURSELF WITH ALL YOUR WEAKNESSES AND SHORTCOMINGS’?
Acceptance is a beautiful concept. Accepting our realities and the people around us shapes us in multifarious ways. Accepting the fact that it is always you who is stopping yourself from so many amazing things that the world offers. Accepting that the world appreciates authenticity and genuineness. Accepting that no one is going to come to save you. Accepting that life is all about living it in the form of a journey and not just reaching the goals. Accepting that the world is really a bigger platform for our dreams to pursue. Accepting that everything that we face in this world shapes our character; it is not our character. We are not responsible for any crap that we encounter. Accepting that your self-awakening starts with this step called Self-Acceptance.
Self-Acceptance is really a tricky ideology to fully practice in our lives. Self-Acceptance requires true vulnerability in our dark days and even in the moments of glory.
Self-Acceptance tells us that not everyone is going to love us in the same manner as they used to before. Self-Acceptance provides us a picture that we are just one piece of a puzzle and not the complete puzzle. Self-Acceptance broadens our horizons, showing that seeking forgiveness is indeed bravery. Self-Acceptance reshapes our identity for good. And self-acceptance is indeed the key to all doors of healing that leads to our desired destinations in the world.
Life is beautiful, but it becomes more beautiful when you fully accept your true potential and your weak spots.
Hey,
So, will you accept yourself?”
